Every year the International Order on the Appointment of Colours, otherwise known as Pantone, introduces a colour palette for the upcoming 12 calendar months, which they usually split between Spring and Fall collections. This palette is a precise, eerily accurate list of the colours we will see cropping up in our daily lives. From our clothes and shoes, to our accessories and home furnishing, and to our magazines and bath mats, these colours will be every where we look for the entire year. Their decision is final and absolute, and really never too off base.
Last year the colour that was all the rage was Emerald Green. We saw it popping up in everything from nail polish to wall paint. This year, no different than years past, the colour of the year, Pantone's Radiant Orchid, is already making it's presence known.
